My name is Alex Smith. Some of my friends call me Smitty. I am seventeen years old and a Senior at Cornerstone Christian School. I do not play sports because my severe Crohn's disease somewhat limits me on my physical activity but I love being involved in other things. I am involved in SGA activities and I have to say homecoming week is my favorite week of the year. I make it my goal to win the dress up days as many times as I can.
I live on a sixty acre farm in Montevallo, Alabama and my grandparents have a house on this farm also. We have cattle, two horses and a donkey named Barack. I also have a new Golden Retriever puppy named Sam and an orange tabby cat named Willie. I have an older sister named Addie who graduated from Auburn University and now works for the Auburn University athletic department. I have been working for Lucky's Foodland for about two months now in the produce department. I enjoy my job but what I really enjoy is getting that paycheck. Some people may think living in south Shelby County is boring, but if you keep an eye on my upcoming blogs you will see that very interesting things can happen in my neck of the woods.
This is a very thorough and thought out blog. very interested in whats to come from you "smitty"
ReplyDeleteWell written Alex. I used to have a puppy, his name was Samson. He was a full bread blue pitbull. I Had to re-home him. I work at Foodland too!
ReplyDeleteWar Eagle! I didn't realize you had any siblings. I'm glad you dress up for Homecoming week, because at my old school not many people did. I love it! Definitely will keep an eye out for future blogs!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I can't wait for homecoming week this year. Since it's our Senior year I am going to go all out with the costumes.
DeleteGreat job, Alex! I can't wait to see what you make of this life!
